A post primary Geography teacher, global educator and environmentalist, Rose joined the centre in 2019 as a Global Learning Schools Advisor on the British Council’s Connecting Classrooms programme.  Prior to this she worked with the Irish international development agency, Trócaire as their Northern Education Officer. There she researched and developed educational resources and delivered student workshops and teacher training.  Rosie also works as a freelance global educator and resource writer and has developed a number of global citizenship and education for sustainability resources for many NGO's including Eco Schools and Habitat for Humanity.  Additionally, Rosie facilitates and aids schools to attain global awards such as Fairtrade Status, Eco-Schools Green Flag, Carbon Literacy, UNICEF’s Rights Respecting Schools Award and the British Council’s International Schools Award.
