LGBT History Month

01 February 2018

The number of people in the UK who identify as lesbian, gay and bisexual continues to grow, with young people aged 16-24 most likely to place themselves into one of these categories (1). LBGT History Month is organised every year to increase the visibility of the LBGT community and promote tolerance, equality and diversity. Throughout the month, important events in LGBT history are commemorated.

This year's theme: Geography – Mapping Our World
