Post-Primary CPD Day: STEM for a Fair and Sustainable World - Belfast

20 November 2017

Play Resource Centre, Belfast

In today’s increasingly interconnected world, we must ensure our young people understand how STEM can contribute to meeting the challenges of the 21st Century. To create a better future for all, we need to find ways to reduce poverty, improve health, tackle climate change, reduce waste and create more sustainable clean energies.

During this training day, post-primary teachers will engage in hands-on activities that will develop their understanding of global learning and how it can help meet STEM objectives at Key Stage 3. There will be signposting to relevant global learning resources.

Sub-cover of up to £140 is available to schools that have not previously participated in the GLP.
