World’s Largest Lesson
18 September 2017
The World’s Largest Lesson takes place annually in classrooms across the world. Beginning on 18 September each year, the lesson lasts for a full week. Educators get involved by providing teaching which helps young people understand and take action on the Global Goals agreed by world leaders in 2015. These 17 goals are centred on ending extreme poverty, fighting inequality and injustice, and tackling climate change by 2030. Behind them lies that hope that by all working together we really can change the world!
