A film for primary children about cocoa farming in Ghana and the importance of Fair Trade

31 March, 2020

This film is perfect for all ages and can be used for learning at home or in the classroom.

It was created by the Fairtrade Committee at Hutchesons’ Grammar Primary School in Glasgow for Fairtrade Fortnight 2020. The group were joined by FP and animation tutor, Joanna Susskind from Toad’s Caravan Ltd, to learn all about stop motion animation. Pupils from P4-7 spent 2 full days in workshops in order to create all props, artwork, voice-recordings and animations to make this beautiful movie come together!

Download ‘A Fair Tale’ Home Learning Challenge for lots of fun learning ideas and activities to try after watching the film.
