Amnesty International recruiting school speakers

19 January, 2018

Inspire the next generation to stand up for human rights by becoming a speaker for Amnesty International.

Amnesty is currently seeking new volunteers from Northern Ireland to join its national programme of human rights speakers. These speakers deliver human rights workshops, lessons and assemblies in schools right across the UK.

Previous experience of giving school talks is not necessarily required, but you must have an interest in developing the human rights knowledge of others and be supportive of Amnesty’s aims and objectives. Speakers are expected to commit to giving a minimum of three talks per year.

A training day for new volunteers is taking place in Belfast from 9.30am to  4.30pm on Thursday 15 February 2018. To register for the training day or to learn more about the speaker programme, please follow this link.

You must sign up for the training before 31 January 2018.
