Global Educator of the Year 2018
27 April, 2018
Is there a brilliant teacher at your school who you think deserves to be named Global Educator of the Year?
Think Global recently opened up nominations for this year’s award. They are looking for someone who has found creative ways to engage young people in global learning, provided excellent teaching on the Global Goals and/or helped inspire students to take action on global issues.
The winner will receive a prize for their school, be recognised at a prestigious award ceremony and have their good practice widely showcased online and at events.
Teachers, teaching assistants, school governors, principals and anyone who works in the broader field of education can all be nominated for the award. However, nominations must be submitted by 11 May 2018.
Full information is available from the Global Dimension website.
We hope some of the finalists will be from Northern Ireland! Having observed global learning practice first-hand in schools across NI, we know there are many teachers working here who would make worthy winners.
