'Up In The Air!'

11 June, 2019

One of the first clusters to form in NI since the inception of the new CCGL programme, this group have formed links with Kenya and are working towards submitting their grant application for an International School Partnership project. Led by Mill Strand Primary School in Portrush, this cluster brings together both primary and post-primary schools in the Coleraine area - North Coast Integrated College, Ballysally Primary, Harpur's Hill Primary and St. Malachy's Primary. They also have another school joining as a network school - Gorran Primary School near Aghadowey.

In their planning, the teachers in the cluster have been particularly interested in how they use their experience of living in a coastal area to support sharing of knowledge and exchange through their collaboration. Their overall theme is 'Up In The Air' which means that each school partnership can take a different slant, for example noise pollution, energy, sustainable neighbourhoods and consumption.

We look forward to hearing how you all get on, and good luck with your application!
