Rossmar Special School - Global learning assemblies

Location: 2 Ballyquin Road, Limavady, BT49 9ET

Entry Date: 19 November 2017

Assemblies for the post-primary department focus on a range of global themes. Often, the assemblies are used to mark important global dates, such as as Universal Children’s Day and World Water Day. Others spread the word about global campaigns or celebrate important global figures. Planning for assemblies means global learning has a very cohesive approach. The assemblies are also participatory, encouraging a high level of pupil engagement.

If you'd also like to mark important global dates with your pupils, then you might want to order Think Global's helpful wallplanner, which highlights loads of global days and festivals throughout the year.
